Bli inspirert av Nicoles fantastiske 70-talls kjole (Issa), Mary-Kates hvite blazer (en must have for våren), Kate Moss sin flørt med rosa og MKs nydelige svarte Balmainkjole. Den hvite blazeren er fra Elisabeth and James, det er også de kule skoene, som begge er litt utenfor mitt budsjett, så jeg prøver nok å finne en vintagejakke i samme stil.

Inspired by the current looks of Fashion Week and celebs everyday outfits. I am now craving a white oversized blazer (like Mary-Kate Olsen), a 70s inspired dress like Nicoles, a touch of pink like so wonderfully shown by Kate Moss and MKs black Balmain( Thanks, Sophie!)dress with lots of detailing. I also like how both MK and Nicole opted for those nude shoes, which makes their legs look a mile long. Whats not to like?

Oscar Dresses

Marisa Tomei was stunning in Versace.I think Kate Winslet owned the night and this look. The dress by Stefano Pilati for YSL, is old Hollywood, in a modern way.

I am doing a who was the best and worst dressed at the Oscars, and if you can read Norwegian, its right here. But I am guessing you cant read it, so I will expand this post a little later today and translate some of best and worsed dressed. I loved Marisa Tomeis dress and Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker looked fine, Kate Winslet was elegant while Jessica Biel looked like a disaster. Do tell me your favorites and worst dressed of the night!

Celeb Favorites

Shopbop har latt kjendisene velge sine favoritter på nettsiden deres. Chloë Sevigny synes jeg har utrolig kul stil og hennes favoritter akkurat nå er blant annet bestefarskardigans, ankelboots og kort skjørt. Sjekk ut også ut stilen til Sarah Michelle Gellar og Anna Farris.

Celebs pick their favorites at Shopbop. I love Chloë Sevignys quirky sense style, she is always willing to take fashion risks on the red carpet. In fact, I often think the girls that make the interesting choices on the big screen, mirrors those choices in their fashion life.

My Favorites from The Golden Globes

I almost forgot two of my favorite ladies Cameron Diaz, who looked stunning in Chanel, and

Maggie Gyllenhall, who was my absolutte favorite in a dress by Lanvin.

Isla Fischer is divine in a Carlos Miele dress. Nude and powder colors will be huge for spring.

Kate Beckinsale always looks good. I love this curvehugging J. Mendel dress.

I can not remember the last time Sandra Bullock looked this good. The one shoulder Christian Dior gown looks perfect on her.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa. If you are a bride this spring, look for this look with waisted details. Perfect for a Spring/Summer wedding.

A Meeting With Dita Von Teese

Min kjærlighet til vintage gjør at jeg ofte kommer i

snakk med mennesker som har samme interesse

som meg. Da jeg var på Fashion Expo i Santa Monica

i Los Angeles for et par uker siden, var jeg så heldig å

støte på Dita Von Teese. Hun er bare en av kjendisene i LA

som elsker vintage og ofte er å se på vintagemesser som denne.

Det var ganske surrealistisk å lete gjennom samme klesbunke

som henne etter 50-tallskjoler. Dessutten var hun så liten

at jeg følte meg som en kjempe ved siden av henne. Men hun

var veldig søt og hyggelig. Hun fortalte at hun elsker vintage,

og at hun ofte drar rundt på messer og plukker klærne sine selv.

På samme stand traff jeg forøvrig også et par andre kjendiser.

As promised I am giving you a sneak peak from the magazine

Du Denne uken, about some of my experiences in Los Angeles. As

of this week I have my own column (Yay!) and my first topic is my meeting

with Dita Von Teese, while vintageshopping in LA. Me and my good

friend Elissa, went to Fashion Expo in Santa Monica to look for some

vintage treasures. And that was not all we found, because as we

were rummaging through old dresses from the 50s I saw

Dita Von Teese doing the same thing. It was unreal, but she

was very nice. She is so tiny, I felt like a giant next to her. She loves

vintage, and she scored a lot of deals while we where there. She

picked up quite a few vintage dresses and chinese inspired kimonos,

brooches and pants. She said she often goes by herself and likes to

look through things, like me. Usually people leave her alone (not me!)

and she said she had found some amazing things tis time. On top of

that there were two other quite famous celebs rummaging around.

One is a stylist to the stars and always wears sunglasses and fur, while the

other is Oprahs favorite interiordesigner. Can you guess who I am

talking about?

Velvet Lust

Ønsker meg den fantastiske jakken til Ashley Olsen i grå fløyel.

Siden jeg ikke har sett noe lignende noen steder, må jeg nok lete

på ebay etter en slik jakke. Skoene fra YSL er også to die for.

Synes egentlig antrekkene til begge Olsen-jentene er kule.

Svart og grått er flotte farger sammen, det er også rødt og

grått, som på Mary-Kate. Begge disse antrekkene passer til årets

julebordsesong. Hvem liker du best, Ashley eller Mary-Kate?

I love Ashley Olsens grey velvet jacket. Come to think of it, I love

both their outfits. I think both sisters have great sense of style and

are great at bringing individual flair to their outfits. But, I am I love with

that velvet coat. Since I have not seen anything similar, I am will be

looking this on ebay or when vintageshopping. Which girls style do you

love most, Ashley or Mary-Kate?

Summer Looks

To av mine stilikoner i kule sommerantrekk. SJP ser utrolig bra ut i denne blomsterkjolen med hudfargede pumps og veske. Nicole Richie kan vel egentlig bære det meste. Elsker denne vintagekjolen hun har på her i den nydelige gule sommerfargen. Solbrillene gir antrekket et ekstra thouch av retro. Perfekt for lange sommerdager. Håper dere fikk noen gode ebaytips i forrige innlegg, en lignende kjole skal iallfall jeg lete etter nå...



Two of my favorite ladies in lovely looks for summer. SJP looks classy as usual, its hard to believe when she says she cant do her own make up and put together outfits! The nude pumps and bag makes this flower dress stand out. Nicole Richie is looking good in her vintage yellow dress/romper. Those sunglasses and the colour are a perfect match for this years popular retro look. I need to find me one of my own...Ebay here I come! Hope I helped out on some issues with ebay and that you feel you got some good advice.

Gossip Girl Style

Elsker stilen til jentene i Gossip Girl. Mannen som står bak det hele, stylisten Eric Daman, forklarer her hvordan han styler showet. Legg spesielt merke til den fantasiske røde kjolen fra Valentino som Jenny skal ha i en fremtidig episode. Nå skal jeg ut i solen og nyte det flotte været. Håper dere får en fin lørdag!

I just love the fab style Gossip Girls stylist Eric Daman are creating for the show. Although no show can replace SATC, I am coveting some of these girls outfits. If you want to dig into the stylist brains for some inspiration watch this and drool with me for that fab red Valentino dress that Jenny will be wearing for an upcoming episode... Anyways, somebody did a piece about this a while ago and wanted to know who the stylist was. And off course I had to serve a piece, haha. Do you have any favorite stylist and why? And when you leave me go to juliam for the pick me up post of the day! Here the sun is shining and I am heading outside, so will post pictures of my great day later.
