Norwegian summer

The summer is coming to an end, and I find myself enjoying every possible moment of sunshine and warm weather. Although I am itching to wear some of my fall investments, I also want to hold on to the sun as long as possible. Do you feel the same way?

Friday I celebrated my birthday at VG-Lista party at Rådhusplassen. Danced the night away in a summery dress I bought in NY last year. Lots of fun!

Fashion Weeks

I been super busy with Fashion Weeks, and its been a lot of fun. If you want to see my interviews, they are all over at minmote.no, but most of them are in norwegian. This upcoming week its Oslo Fashion Week and then its of to London. Cant wait to get away from the snow!

In Copenhagen and Stockholm I was able to walk around in shoes, not boots, what a luxury! I also bought a pair of Maison Martin Margiela phyton shoes (on the last picture) on sale for 70 percent off, nice bargain. I also got the pink pants from CM for 10 dollars, quite happy with my shopping, even though that was all I had time for.

Almost Christmas

Christmas is just a couple of days away. I cant believe how fast this fall went, its like it was just August, and I was in New York. However, the Norwegian winter has been cruel so far, much colder than it has been in years. I am covering up in fake fur, boots and layers of wool. I am almost done with all my christmas presents and this weekend we are going to pick up a tree. I cant help but feeling blessed, the most important about Christmas to me, is to be around the people I love. Hope you all are enjoying the pre Christmas festivities!

California

Sorry for being such a bad blogger. Sometimes it is just necessary to shut down. I have spent the last two and a half weeks in LA with friends. Had a wonderful time, have charged my batteries and ready for new and exciting action. Drove up the coast to San Luis Opisbo with my husband, spent a wonderful couple of days at Sycamore Springs and Hadsten House in Solvang. Celebrated Halloween with lots of fascinating people and got dressed up as Sammy Jo from Dynasty. Managed to drag my amazing friends to some shopping in Beverly Hills, were I among other things picked up this Rocco bag from Alexander Wang. Its already a favorite in my closet! Now I am off to check out what you all have been doing this past couple of weeks.

Photo Shoot

Last week we spent a whole day playing dress up in the studio. Love the looks and we had such a fun day working it in front of the camera, taking new pictures for minMote. The red dress (a favorite) is vintage, borrowed from a very cool store called Flashdance in Oslo, while I am wearing a dress from H&M Fashion Against Collection (which will be available in stores tomorrow) in the last picture. Shoes are from Aldo. I am thinking about buying both dresses, what do you think?

Gray and black

I am so tired of the snow and its still months away from Spring. I take comfort in enjoying the small things in my life, like a sunday free off everything. Today I am meeting up with some friends and just relaxing before another hectic week. I am a huge fan of simplicity these days, and gray and black is a great color combination. I got these boots on loan for a competition at minMote, so we took these shots outside yesterday. I think they are pretty cool. LA Suburbia

It is still cold here, but wanted to share some more photos from our last trip to LA. As you might have guessed, I think fashion should be fun, hence the last picture. These pictures was taken at my good friends house (Love ya, Elissa!) in LA suburbia. I am wearing two of my recents buys, the H&M faux fur coat and the aldo leopard boots. Fun times!

New Shoes

I finally managed to get my hands on a pair of cool leopard boots in New York. They were on sale, so it was a real bargain. These make any outfit pop and I am planning on wearing them to at least one christmasparty. Love NY in the evening, going out for drinks and good food, we had so much fun. Bryant Park was so different without the fashion tents, but it was lovely with the stands and ice rink.

Getting my hair done

On Saturday I went and had my hair done. Dont you love those moments when you just get to sit there and relax? And the texture and color of the hair afterwards? Pure luxury and indulgence, just like it should be(Thanks Anki!). Hope you all are having a great week? I have been running around looking at a cool jeans line and trying to get together some Christmas presents. I dont want to be stressing with that come December. Have you startet Christmas shopping already?

Fall in Oslo

Its really getting cold in Oslo. This is what I was wearing a couple of days ago and one of my favorite outfits for fall. Besides all the faux fur I have picked up, a leather jacket and the studded bag from Zara is perfect wardrobe essentials for me. I also try to wear my open toe shoes as long as possible, so over the knee socks are a great solution. I have not found any over knee boots that I like yet, I think many ends up looking like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but the search continues this weekend.

Fab Friday!

Just got home from work and finshed watching The Rachel Zoe Project, Season 2, courtesy of Youtube. I must say that I love the show, its hilarious and fun on so many levels. Season 2 did not yet disappoint and it all seemed like crazy madness fashion bananas! I am dealing with my own crazy life of the moment, I am telling you, theres just not enough hours in a day to make it all work. Next week I have fittings, clients, a makeover, and on Saturday I am going to be part of a huge event at Jernbanetorget, a fashion show and party that will last all day. In between it all, I always have time for shopping, so I bought these pants with leather patches and the tie lace wedges that I love already. Have a great weekend!

Or maybe not, but they are divine! They are going to be the summers dancing shoes, I am in love the blue electric color. I am off to do some bargain hunting at the sales and vintagestores, since the weather is a little gloomy. Perfect way to spend a saturday. Hope you all have an amazing weekend!!

Totally Plaid
